They were first introduced in Turkey and were made available through private health insurances in the United States in 2022.

Ali R. Akın's latest project involves creating a product incorporating hundreds of new-generation probiotic strains under the same concept. This project aims to put an end to fecal transplantation in the world. In the 21st century, Ali Rıza Akın is paving new paths in Anaerobic Microbiology studies, opening up exciting new perspectives on human health.

One of the most famous figures in the field of new generation probiotics, Ali R. Akın, is currently actively serving as a scientific consultant in California's Silicon Valley and at Next Microbiome company.
